Aunt Ann was sadly killed in a motor car accident many years ago, my Mum, Aunt Peggy and Aunt Joan have too passed away.

Aunt Sarah is somewhat of an enigma, I never ever met her...as far as I know she left the family under circumstances, unclear to me, before I was even born. It is believed she passed away in 2004. I was given this photograph of her on the 24/11/2006. Aged 34: living in Liverpool

Aunty Bet builds her own Dolls houses, and  collects "OLD Dolls" houses which she renovates.  She finds them everywhere, those being thrown out by people, those from car boot sales etc. etc. Anywhere a Doll's house is in need of a little TLC you'll find Aunty Betty.

But, does she renovate them and sell them? ..NO.. she keeps them!  ALL of them!

She says they were for the Kids!.... (the youngest is  near 40 and male!!!) .....  then  its for the Grandkids .... yeah right, we believe her .... Next she'll say they are for Uncle Arch!!

She also enjoys taking and printing photographs, millions of them! sales of Ink have risen through the roof since she began doing it.

 Historical event on the land.

And on the Sea.

The Band was originally formed in 1949 as the Balmoral Pipe Band and took on its present title of Liverpool Clan Wallace Pipe Band in 1979.
Like many similar organisations the Band is self-financing and undertakes paid functions such as Weddings, Fetes, Parades etc. to generate income for the band. You can reach the band  by clicking the following email address links:  pipemajorrf@tiscali.co.uk  or alantyrrell@blueyonder.co.uk

Uncle Jim ("Butch") is the family rascal, ever ready to to play practical joke on the first person that comes to mind when he gets up in the morning!

He spent about six years in the Irish Fusiliers from the age of 17. Here he learned to play the bagpipes and then spent his time in the Army in the Regimental Pipe Band. "It was either that or Guard Duty" he says. He also boxed quite successfully as an  amateur boxer having around 60 bouts in all and winning a very high percentage of them. He also boxed in and for the Army against other military branches.

After leaving the army, he continued playing the bagpipes and is still a member of a Liverpool based Pipe Band called Clan Wallace. These days at 77 years old,  his marching days are over really,  so he spends his time tutoring new and young members. He is EVEN trying to teach me now. He reckons I'm his biggest challenge, which is probably true, due to the fact I'm totally tone deaf!
